COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course is specifically designed for workers who are involved in clean-up operations, voluntary clean-up operations, emergency response operations, and storage, disposal, or treatment of hazardous substances or uncontrolled hazardous waste sites. Topics include protection against hazardous chemicals, elimination of hazardous chemicals, safety of workers and the environment, OSHA regulations. This course covers topics included in 29 CFR 1910.120.

Note: The Online 40-Hour HAZWOPER training course meets requirements set by the 29 CFR Part 1910.120 (e)(3)(i) for the 40-hours of instruction off-site training requirements. At the site, three days of training and work under the direct supervision of a trained, experienced supervisor is also required.

HAZWOPER CERTIFICATION: Upon successful completion of this course, you can download and print your certificate of completion.

TESTING: Quizzes - All sectional quiz questions must be answered correctly to proceed forward to the next lesson. The final exam must be passed with a 70% to pass the course. The final exam can be taken three times if necessary.
